My process is detailed well in this project. First I start with a mindmap, then thumbnails, black and white iterations, final vectors, color iterations, and any tweaks necessary before the final product is satisfactory.

In my identity design course we watched the French film Amelie. Afterwards, each of us were assigned a character from the film to base a brand off of. I ended up with Blubber the goldfish, a relatively insignificant character that only appeared in the very beginning of the movie. Blubber’s big moment was when he jumped out of his bowl onto the floor, traumatizing poor Amelie as a child. With that as my inspiration, I came up with an airline catered towards the comfort of children, pets, and new or anxious fliers called Guppy Glide. From there, the design process began.
